Get Mentoring is a Government Funded project run by SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) that ran throughout 2012 to recruit and train thousands of volunteer business mentors from the small and medium sized business sector. The scheme attracted a wide range of business professionals of all ages and backgrounds from 'been there and done it' entrepreneurs, established and experienced business owners, to business professionals that have specialist knowledge in a particular area such as marketing, law or finance. 

Now Get Mentoring is back, with its partners from across the UK, to encourage more businesses to be aware of the volunteer mentors that are interested in supporting their business.

The Meet A Mentor events are designed to help bring together mentors and businesses on the day with the hope that some mentoring relationships will flourish as a result, but to also make businesses aware of the value of mentoring and where else they might be able to go to find a mentor for their business.
